RIVER SAND MINING
Virgin Sands Group operates a controlled, environmentally responsible river-dredging and material-processing operation in Suriname, South America. Our process is designed to ensure consistent quality, traceability, and scalability for regional and international markets. River sand is extracted using approved dredging methods that minimize environmental impact while maintaining high recovery efficiency. Material is then transported to designated processing and staging areas, where it is screened, washed, and graded to meet specific customer requirements. Strict quality control procedures are applied throughout the process to ensure uniform grain size, cleanliness, and chemical composition. Our silica sand is naturally occurring and benefits from the geological purity of Suriname’s river systems.
